Knowledge Exchange Partnerships

Our mission is to help solve the most pressing conservation challenges in Canada.

One sector or organization can not create change on their own, and so this mission has led us to host, build and translate conversations between partners with overlapping objectives in conservation. We foster and maintain in-person and online connections between industry, government, community and research to elevate all knowledge as equal and achieve understanding and change.

Prior to starting Fuse Consulting, Shelagh Pyper spent 5 years developing diverse community outreach programs at the University of Alberta, that responded to community needs. Matthew Pyper built a knowledge exchange program at the University of Alberta's Department of Renewable Resources, that connected academia to industry. Together, Shelagh and Matthew are now facilitating and managing several long term partnerships, like the Canadian Conservation and Land Management Knowledge Portal, the IPCA Knowledge Basket and the Alberta Regional Caribou Knowledge Partnership.
