AISHWARYA RAGURAMAN, M.SC., B.SC.

Science communicator and illustrator

Aishwarya works as a Science Writer and Illustrator at Fuse, where she combines her love for design with her interest in science communication to support projects that involve visuals and knowledge synthesis. 

Aishwarya’s enthusiasm for science communication stems from her passion for encouraging public interest and trust in science. She strongly believes that messaging has the potential to  have immeasurable impacts when communicated effectively, accessibly, and with pleasing visuals. 

Prior to joining the team at Fuse during the summer of 2023, Aishwarya has worked in various positions within the field of science communication. She has experience working as a medical writer, a freelance designer, and as a graphic designer for the Science Communication Masters program at Laurentian University. Her work and specialized skill set help her to understand and promote the important role that science communication plays in fostering curiosity, influencing important decisions, and inspiring scientific progress. 

Aishwarya has an M.S.Com from Laurentian University and an Honours B.Sc. from McMaster University, with a double minor in music and biology.
