jen allen-dickman, B.SC.
PRogram manager
Jen Allen-Dickman is a Program Manager focused on program and project management while supporting both research and science communication efforts. She works to deliver impactful content in both innovative and creative ways, bringing together knowledge and expertise related to conservation and forest and land management across Alberta and Canada.
With passions for science, nature, and sustainability, Jen brings over 8 years of experience working in the environmental/natural resources field specializing in communications, project and program management/coordination, and knowledge exchange/outreach roles. Prior to joining Fuse, Jen worked for a variety of organizations, including Alberta Environment and Parks, a producer-led applied research association, and a national forestry non-profit organization. In 2021 and 2022, Jen received the Canadian Institute of Forestry Award of Excellence, recognizing her outstanding accomplishments in helping provide national leadership, promote competence, and foster public awareness of Canadian and international forestry/forest issues.
Understanding the importance of collaboration and engagement, Jen is eager to leverage her experience and expertise to connect and share valuable information with practitioners, decision-makers, and the general public while also influencing the development of innovative solutions to take action and create positive change.
Jen has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences with a major in Natural Resources Management from the University of Guelph.
